Volute is a Nottingham based web design company that specialises in designing web sites that are good looking, user friendly, are well placed in search engines and easy for customers to update themselves.

What we don't specialise in is dealing with the labyrinthine regulations regarding payroll that HM Revenue and Customs impose on us. After a short spell of attempting to do this ourselves, via our accounts software, we decided to appoint Pay Role to You to handle all aspects of paying our staff.

In the 5 years we have used Pay Role to You (we were their first customer) the service has been immaculate; from setting up new staff, to variations and overtime right through to filing annual returns on our behalf (and suggesting ways we can save money) the service is nothing short of brilliant. I don't know how we would cope without them.

Open Minds provide social activities in Nottinghamshire for people with disability who experience low self-esteem. We encourage a warm, friendly atmosphere in which to meet new people and enjoy their company.

Our organisation has been run by disabled people since it began and many of those involved started as members.

We have used the outsourcing of Pay Role to You to process the salaries of our two monthly paid workers for some years now. Pay Role to You send us reports and payslips promptly each month and respond to our questions knowledgeably and always with a smile.

The annual cost per person also helps to be able to budget accurately each year for the ‘overhead’ cost of ensuring that our employees are paid accurately and on time and for ensuring that we comply with the host of HMRC rules and regulations.
